Hi, I am Dr. Nash

I see myself as a young experienced dentist with big dreams, that’s why I strive to be always up to date in my knowledge and practical skills not just in clinical dentistry but in understanding the art of communication to establish that rapport between me and my patient as building trust is one of my highest priorities if I want to have that deep satisfaction as a person and as a successful dentist as well.

I was born in Iraq in 1978, raised up in a Christian family in Baghdad, and have graduated from the University of Baghdad/Iraq in 2001, worked for 18 months in both hospital and private clinics before I arrived to New Zealand in 2003, passed the New Zealand Dental Registration Exams in 2006 and since then I have been working in private clinics in Wellington and then here in my own Clinic in Auckland.

Since Graduation I have followed a path of updating my knowledge and advancing my clinical and communicative skills so I can offer my patients the best care that I can, the kind of care I would do for my own family.

Some of my achievements in this regard are:

- Graduation with Honors from Progressive Orthodontic Seminars, a comprehensive 2 years Orthodontic course (fixed braces) for general dentists, Australia/ 2014

- Successful completion of few quality Implant Dentistry courses in New Zealand.

- One Year Training course in using the Invisalign system (Clear Aligners)

- plus finishing quality Restorative, Endodontic, Surgical and other dental courses as part of continuing education in dentistry to name a few.

Currently a member of the New Zealand Dental Association (NZDA),

Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologist (FICOI),

Fellow of the International College of Continuing Dental Education (ICCDE).

Being happily married with 2 children I’ve experienced this fact “treat others the way you would like to be treated if you want to lead a satisfying life” and by treating my patient as a unique person through active listening, exploring carefully their concerns through thorough clinical examination and sharing the different treatment options along with short and long term goals to achieve their optimum oral health , I have been proudly recommended as a family dentist for many of my patients throughout my career.

When it comes to dentistry, I’d like to keep it simple for my patients and above all to perform it in a gentle manner leaving my patients fully informed about their oral health situation for them to take an informed decision so I can address their concerns to the best of my knowledge and experience. That’s how I could make a change and make it good.

I hope that Browns Road Dental can be your family dental care clinic, so welcome all.

Hi, I am Karen

I have recently joined the friendly team here in January 2015, where I am currently working part time.

I graduated from the University of Otago in 2013 as an Oral Health Therapist, where I work with Browns Road Dental is as a registered Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist.

Dental Hygienists treat gum disease and help patients of all age groups maintain a healthy mouth in partnership with a dentist, whilst a Dental Therapist provides dental treatment independently for patients up to the age of 18 years old.

I take a thorough and caring approach to each of my patients and provide a high standard of gentle care.

Outside of work I enjoy keeping active & fit and enjoy the outdoors

Our Motto

Gentle, affordable and quality dental care that leave our patients with positive dental experience is our pride in the dental care we provide.
